Unity in Diversity, designed made and quilted by Martha Tsihlas c.2007

I got a phone call from a potential customer asking to to see some of the work that I have done for clients. Since my website doesn't have a gallery and my other blog has too much of everything I decided to create another blog. This blog will show clients work that I have created since Del Sol Quilts opened up in the fall of 2006. Besides doing long arm quilting for customers I have also been asked to make all kind of different quilts. I also work on my own quilts, to be entered in competitions.  I won't be able to post photos of every single quilt I have quilted or made because a few times I have forgotten to take a photo. I will try my best with what I have documented up to today. If you have any questions please contact me at martha@delsolquilts.com

My quilting is done on a Gammill Optimum longarm machine.

Carissa's quilt. Two quilts Made with t-shirts, cotton shirts, flannel shirts, silk ties and other fiber memorabilia. Made and quilted by Martha Tsihlas Dec. 09

Carissa's comments after getting her quilts:

Martha -

"Thank you so so much, you have given my family such a precious gift with these remarkable quilts. They really turned out so beautifully, they are better than what I had hoped for. Mom said she had a wonderful experience collecting them from you, it was an unexpected gift to her as well.

I'm delighted there was so much fabric left over, my mind is already thinking ahead to a crib blanket or some such for if/when we have a little boy on the way (who will/would be named for my dad, incidentally).

Any rate, we are collectively so delighted with the outcome on the quilts, and I personally am grateful for all of your thoughts and shepherding through the process. If you ever need a reference, please don't hesitate to think of me, and hopefully I'll have an excuse to work with you again on another project!"
